In the previous month, Donald Trump, the former President, issued a cautionary statement regarding potential Middle East terrorist incidents following President Joe Biden’s release of $6 billion in previously frozen oil revenues to Iran. Saturday’s attacks now appear to validate that warning.
Conservative Jack Posobiec recently shared on X that “[One] month ago, Trump predicted the $6 billion that Biden gave Iran would be utilized for terror activities in the Middle East, particularly mentioning kidnapping.” This prediction was accompanied by a screenshot from Truth Social. “What we are witnessing in Israel this morning aligns precisely with this prediction,” he added.

Following Hamas’ unexpected assault on Israel, involving rocket attacks targeting both Israeli military personnel and civilians, as well as the kidnapping and murder of Israelis by a group of fighters, the earlier prediction gained prominence on various fronts.
Hamas, an Islamic extremist organization partly funded by Iran, conducted this attack on the occasion of Simchat Torah and during Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest observed in Israel by many.
In early September, President Biden released $6 billion to Iran in exchange for the release of five American prisoners who had been detained in the country for several years.
Donald Trump’s post, published on September 11, expressed his disbelief at Joe Biden’s decision to provide $6 billion to Iran, a terrorist regime. Trump warned that this money would likely be used for terrorism in the Middle East and around the world. He criticized Biden for announcing this deal on September 11th, and he expressed concerns about the potential for more kidnappings, ransom, and blackmail against Americans.
Many others invoked Trump’s policies following the attacks in Israel. Radio host and author Mark Levin highlighted Trump’s actions, such as cutting off funds to the Palestinians, initiating peace efforts like the Abraham Accords, canceling the Iran deal, imposing sanctions on Iran, and his support for Israel. Levin criticized Biden for reversing these policies and undermining Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Mike Cernovich also chimed in, suggesting that under Trump’s leadership, events like this wouldn’t have occurred. He emphasized Trump’s focus on targeted assassinations of Hamas terrorists and his commitment to not using children as human shields, contrasting this with his perception of the Biden administration’s domestic surveillance efforts.
Now you know why there are towns in Israel named after Trump. This stuff wouldnât happen under him, as Trump doesnât want Hamas children used as human shields, and he focused on targeted assassination of Hamas terrorists. He wasnât spying on domestic enemies, like Biden regime.

In a statement released on Saturday, Donald Trump criticized Hamas’ attack on Israel, deeming it a “disgrace” and asserting that Israel has the legitimate right to defend itself using overwhelming force.
Trump’s statement also lamented that American taxpayer dollars were potentially involved in funding these attacks, with many reports suggesting a connection to the Biden Administration. He expressed disappointment in the erosion of the peace achieved in the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, and he remarked on the rapid pace at which it was unraveling under President Biden’s leadership.
On Truth Social, Trump more pointedly criticized Biden, stating, “Joe Biden’s incompetence, weakness, and ineffectiveness have resulted in this dreadful attack on Israel, and the situation is likely to deteriorate further. Just four years ago, we celebrated the historic signing of the Abraham Accords, and today, we witness an attack on Israel. It underscores the significant impact a President can have.”
