Goldberg began by showing a video of RFK Jr. discussing the parasite, which he said he likely contracted while in India from eating undercooked pork. The clip ended with Kennedy claiming he had fully recovered, to which Goldberg responded with skepticism.
“He insists he’s ready for the job,” Goldberg continued, pointing out that Kennedy embraced the story on social media. “He even tweeted, for some reason, that he could eat five more worms and still defeat You-Know-Who and Biden in a debate.”
Kennedy posted on X, “I offer to eat 5 more brain worms and still beat President Trump and President Biden in a debate,” adding that he was confident in his ability even with a “six-worm handicap.”
“Well, now we understand his erratic behavior,” Behar remarked about Kennedy. “But what’s Trump’s reason? Does he also have a brain worm? We know he has narcolepsy, as he keeps falling asleep.”
“It’s bizarre,” Goldberg said, shifting the conversation back to Kennedy. “He had a worm that died in his brain and is now part of his brain tissue.”
Behar argued that Kennedy’s “conditions” made him unfit to criticize the other two main party candidates. No one at the table mentioned any of Biden’s actions — such as his verbal gaffes or claims about his uncle being eaten by cannibals — as needing explanation or questioning.
