According to insiders, actor Jamie Foxx is slowly recovering from a significant health issue he faced in April.
While the details of his illness remain undisclosed, Foxx is reportedly receiving top-notch medical care, although a full recovery is still on the horizon.
In an April 12 statement on an Instagram Story that has since expired, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, shared that her father had experienced a medical complication.
Foxx expressed his gratitude for the support of his fans in a May 3 Instagram post, as reported by People. His daughter provided an update on May 12.
Clarifying misconceptions, Corinne emphasized that her father had been out of the hospital for several weeks and was recuperating well, even participating in activities like playing pickleball.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Foxx’s co-actor in the Netflix film “They Cloned Tyrone,” John Boyega, confirmed that Foxx was responding positively to his recovery process.
Datari Turner, a producer close to Foxx, also expressed confidence in his recuperation and expects him to return to professional duties in due time.
Foxx’s representatives refuted claims linking his hospitalization to COVID-19 vaccination or blood clot issues.
