Mediaite: On Wednesday’s Politicon podcast, Carville freaked out at the results. “Lady, I ain’t in the same party as you,” Carville said. He noted that Avila Chevalier, who was born to Dominican immigrants, once remarked white people should not be in interracial marriages. “I’m sorry. I’m just not. And I actually do think it’s time for Democrats to talk the ‘s’ word: schism. I really do. Everybody’s always said, ‘No, no. We’re a coalition. We’re a major tent. And there’s just some sh*t I can’t be in the same tent with.” Carville then insisted that despite winning their Democratic primaries, “these people are not Democrats.” He then suggested that establishment Democrats “negotiate the terms of a schism” with democratic socialists in the party. “But I’m done,” he carried on. “I’m not in that f*cking political party. I am totally comfortable in a political party that spends time questioning the policies of the government of Israel. In fact, I’m enthusiastic about that. I don’t want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist.
This poisonous snake is entirely responsible for the communist incubus that’s now destroying the Democrat Party. He simply ignored and indulged the ugliest elements while spewing his own brand of insanely bigoted and reflexive hatred.
CNN: One particularly notable critic of his endorsements in Tuesday’s primaries was New York Attorney General Letitia James, a key backer during his campaign. “Some of the candidates that he has backed are individuals who do not understand the politics of New York City, the cultural differences from district to district, who have not been part of the history and the struggle of some of these districts, and are relatively new to the body politic,” James told CNN, pointing particularly to what she noted was Mamdani’s lack of understanding of race and class issues that run deep. They were met by Capitol Police in riot gear, and the two forces clashed violently as the insurgents tried to secure access to the building.
