In an interview with “Fox & Friends” on Monday, Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) voiced strong criticism towards Democrats who walked out of a congressional hearing the previous week.
Cammack expressed her disbelief and concern that government officials were unwilling to listen to expert testimonies about the considerable harm caused to minors by gender transition surgeries and procedures.
The Washington Examiner highlighted Cammack’s view that these surgeries and procedures should be regarded as experimental, and she expressed worry over medical professionals treating children as subjects in what she described as a “Frankenstein experiment.”

The walk out was to protest on the lies you are sharing to the American public.
According to Fox News, Cammack highlighted the seriousness of these decisions, especially when they involve adolescents who have not undergone puberty. In her opinion, these young individuals cannot give informed consent for transformative and long-lasting procedures, as they may not fully grasp the possible long-term consequences.
In the midst of this debate, Republicans are working to tackle the significant shortage of physicians in the United States. However, their efforts are facing opposition from Democrats, who are pushing to include gender-affirming surgeries for adolescents in the discussions.
In a connected narrative, a young man who previously identified as a trans woman and underwent castration as part of his transition has come forward expressing regret about his past choice.
He is now cautioning others against such extreme procedures, describing them as a form of self-harm largely influenced by internalized homophobia.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, the young man stated, “I saw it as a way to escape from my homosexuality, if that makes any sense.”
Believing that surgery would alleviate his distress and dissatisfaction, he shared his experience:
âI was like, âOh, wow, this is so great. Iâm locked in my transition. . . . But then everything started to crack, and I couldnât ignore the complications,â Kobe said. âI couldnât ignore that I mutilated myself pretty much with the permission of a psychiatrist. Itâs insane now, looking back. Itâs just self-harm, you know.â
Advocates stress the significance of validating and affirming a young person’s gender identity, while individuals like Cammack caution about the potential dangers and the elevated rates of depression and suicide observed in those who undergo such treatments.
Fox News provided a comprehensive transcript of Cammack’s interview:
KAT CAMMACK:Â Well, I think itâs because it proves exactly what weâve been saying all along, that this is experimental. This is, I want to say, almost akin to a Frankenstein experiment on children.
There is no consent that you can give as an adolescent to change your anatomy, particularly when in this video, the surgeon himself admits that these kids have in many cases not had their first sexual experiences. And how do they affirm what things are supposed to feel like and look like when they just donât know?
They talk at length in this interview and this video that things in the operating room never stay the way that they actually are going to be. Itâs no peer-reviewed research, itâs just trying to figure it out in the moment. Theyâre using robots ⊠and itâs just a giant experiment at taxpayer expense on kids that really are just trying to figure themselves out.
Now, if youâre an adult, thatâs your choice. But these kids havenât even gone through puberty in some cases. So essentially, Republicans are trying to address the physician shortage, which by 2034 is going to be 125,000 doctors short, by saying weâre going to focus on the real issues here and addressing this physician shortage.
Radical Democrats said, âNo, not unless we include gender-affirming surgery for adolescents. Itâs crazy.’â
