Democrats are reportedly very frustrated that Joe Biden’s family and advisors continue to put him in interviews, knowing he is visibly struggling and that his remarks could further damage the party’s already weak position.
Recently, Biden stumbled through a BBC interview, insisting he could have won the election if he had stayed in the race. In another problematic appearance on The View, he suggested that Kamala Harris lost because many voters are racist and sexist. When questioned about his cognitive decline, he needed assistance from Dr. Jill Biden to form a coherent response.
Behind the scenes, Democrats are reportedly furious and want Biden to step out of the spotlight.

“Democrats are blasting former President Biden’s reemergence in the spotlight following his interview Thursday on ‘The View,’ his second major post-presidency interview… Some Democrats argue Biden is becoming a liability as the party tries to recover from its 2024 losses.”
Democratic strategist Anthony Coley, a former Biden administration official, stated:
“Elections are about the future. Every time Joe Biden emerges, we fight an old war. His interviews create an unhelpful contrast with Trump, and Democrats need fresh voices to inspire voters. Joe Biden isn’t that.”
Another strategist noted:
“Biden needs to take responsibility for his actions and admit he cost Democrats the election. There’s no acknowledgment that he shouldn’t have run again. Why can’t he admit his role in this?”
Some speculate that Biden’s frequent appearances may be a form of retaliation after being pushed out of the race.
