The quote reads: “These Trumpers think we care about the constitution.” The rest of the supposed quote includes: “We have the power now, it’s time to end this. They really don’t get it. We will block them in the courts, we will use federal law enforcement and the military. After Joe inflicts the death blow, I’ll take the reins. They will beg me for a loaf of bread.”
This quote is not authentic. There are no credible news reports or records on her social media accounts that suggest Harris made such remarks. Furthermore, in her first speech as vice president on Jan. 20, 2021, there is no mention of these statements in the White House transcript.
