A woman in Memphis, Tennessee had a really scary experience when she was carjacked by a group of kids. One of them was only 10 years old and had a gun! The woman was driving her 2012 Infiniti on Pearce Street in North Memphis when the kids made her get out of the car. The woman was really scared, but she managed to get out safely.
A few weeks later, the police found the car and arrested the kids. The youngest one was 10 years old. But the woman was upset when she found out that the boy was let go from custody soon after. She wondered how it was possible for kids to carjack someone and be released right away.
It’s important to note that the length of time the suspects stay in custody depends on each individual case and the laws surrounding the crime. As more and more people become victims of crime, there are calls for changes to be made.
