Americans are governed by an oligarchy of unelected federal operatives often referred to as the deep state. Joe Biden’s presidency illustrates how these deep state actors prefer figureheads who will follow their directives without question. On the upside, at least the White House acknowledges the need to cover it up.
According to Fox News, White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby gave a weak response to a reporter’s question about Biden’s sparse schedule and extended vacations, which create the clear impression of a president who has abandoned his responsibilities.
The question came from Newsmax’s James Rosen during a Monday teleconference.
Rosen asked, “The president’s public comportment and the paucity of events on his public schedule, as on this very day, have fostered a public perception that Mr. Biden is increasingly disengaged from the presidency. Time and again, the question I am hearing from members of the general public, and which I put to you here, Admiral, is: Who is running the country? Is he a ceremonial figure in some sense at this point?”
Monday was the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, which claimed the lives of 13 U.S. service members.
Instead of honoring them at Arlington National Cemetery, as former President Donald Trump did, Biden spent the day vacationing at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware—just after spending the previous week in California.
Despite Biden’s clear disengagement, Kirby feigned surprise at Rosen’s question.
“James, now you know better than that. I mean, my goodness, he talked to Prime Minister [Narendra] Modi [of India] today,” Kirby replied. “He had calls with leaders in the region and in Europe, President Zelenskyy, last week. He monitored in real time what was going on over the weekend. I mean, come on.”
Kirby continued, “The president is on vacation, but you can never unplug from a job like that, nor does he try to. He’s very much in command of making sure we can continue to protect our national security interests here at home and certainly overseas.”
“Very much in command?” Kirby protests too much.
Since the notorious June 27 debate, it’s become evident to all that Biden lacks the mental capacity to fulfill the duties of his office. Democratic elites confirmed this when they orchestrated a coup to push Biden out of the 2024 presidential race.
To highlight the stark contrast between the listless 46th president and his vigorous predecessor, side-by-side images of Biden lounging at the beach and Trump laying a wreath at Arlington circulated on the social media platform X on Monday.
In essence, deep state operatives like Kirby know they must maintain the illusion of Biden’s engagement, so Kirby lied without any apparent concern if anyone noticed. This is the signature of a very bold and powerful oligarchy.
