Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will testify this morning before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions as President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
So far, five of Trump’s nominees have been fully confirmed by the Senate: Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
This week, RFK Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard are scheduled for hearings. Patel and Kennedy are expected to be among the most contentious picks for their respective roles as FBI Director and Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Recently, legacy media outlets were caught promoting the “Committee to Protect Health Care,” an organization linked to Bill Gates, which circulated a petition opposing Kennedy’s nomination. The petition, which claimed to have over 15,000 doctors’ signatures, was reportedly open to anyone, allowing individuals to falsely sign as medical professionals.
Alex Jones revealed that he was able to sign the petition twice under fake names—“Dr. Fake” and “Dr. BS”—raising concerns about the petition’s credibility.
Former Vice President Mike Pence and his organization, Advancing American Freedom (AAF), have also launched a campaign against Kennedy’s nomination, circulating a letter to senators questioning his pro-life stance.
Additionally, Kennedy is likely to face resistance from entrenched government bureaucrats. A recent investigation by James O’Keefe’s O’Keefe Media Group highlighted how federal officials could work behind the scenes to obstruct Trump’s HHS policies.
Byron Cohen, an advisor in the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, was recorded stating that the Deep State is “real” and that “there’s a good chance that the bureaucracy just crushes him [RFK Jr.].”
With powerful opposition to Kennedy’s appointment, his confirmation battle will be closely watched.
