President Trump is scheduled to hold a press conference this morning in the White House Press Briefing Room after a military helicopter collided with a passenger plane at Reagan International Airport on Wednesday night.
The conference follows a major U.S. Supreme Court decision on Friday, which dealt a strong blow to activist judges and delivered a crucial legal win for President Trump by reinforcing the constitutional limits on the judiciary and strengthening executive authority.
In response to the ruling, the president celebrated on Truth Social:
“GIANT WIN in the United States Supreme Court! Even the Birthright Citizenship Hoax has been, indirectly, hit hard. It had to do with the babies of slaves (same year!), not the SCAMMING of our Immigration process. Congratulations to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Solicitor General John Sauer, and the entire DOJ.”
The Supreme Court ruled that nationwide injunctions issued by district courts exceed congressional authority, paving the way for tougher immigration enforcement.
The press conference is set for 11:30 AM ET.
