Vice President JD Vance voiced strong support for President Donald Trump in a post on X.
“President Trump has done more than any person in my lifetime to earn the trust of the movement he leads. I’m proud to stand beside him,” Vance wrote.
His statement came Thursday evening following a day of online exchanges between Trump and Elon Musk regarding the major tax bill currently under Senate review. Musk criticized the bill, prompting a response from Trump, and the two continued trading remarks throughout the day.
On Friday, Vance weighed in further: “It’s (maybe) the single biggest disconnect between fake media perception and reality.”
He also pushed back against media narratives about Trump, stating, “There are many lies the corporate media tells about President Trump. One of the most glaring is that he’s impulsive or short-tempered. Anyone who has seen him operate under pressure knows that’s ridiculous.”
