Virginia Giuffre’s family is seeking further repercussions for Prince Andrew.
Recent reports have highlighted the ongoing controversies surrounding Prince Andrew, the former Duke of York, including his connections to Jeffrey Epstein, questionable business dealings, and ties to alleged Chinese spies.
As we noted yesterday, BREAKING: Disgraced Prince Andrew Surrenders All His Royal Titles, Including Duke of York, Amid Ongoing Epstein and Espionage Scandals.
Giuffre’s family swiftly responded, labeling Andrew’s loss of titles as a ‘vindication for survivors everywhere’.
In their statement, family members Sky and Amanda Roberts, along with Danny and Lanette Wilson, urged King Charles III to revoke Andrew’s title of Prince.
Andrew has relinquished all honors, including his Duke of York title, membership in the Order of the Garter, and his position as Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order, though he will retain his status as a Prince by birthright as the son of Queen Elizabeth.
‘His reputation is on the floor,’ commented royal broadcaster Helena CHard, indicating that ‘so much more is yet to be revealed’ about Prince Andrew.
Giuffre’s family reacted to the news, stating in a report by the Daily Mail:
“We, the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, believe that Prince Andrew’s decision to give up his titles is vindication for our sister and survivors everywhere. […] We also believe it is appropriate for King Charles to remove the title of Prince.”
They added, ‘This is not just a victory for her, but for every single survivor of the horrific crimes perpetrated by Epstein and his co-conspirators.’”
Furthermore, the recent release of emails between Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein raises serious questions about their relationship. In an email sent in early 2011, shortly after a controversial photo involving Virginia, Andrew, and Ghislaine Maxwell surfaced, he stated, ‘we are in this together’ and ‘we’ll play more soon’, contradicting his claims of severing ties with Epstein in 2010 during a 2018 BBC interview.
‘Epstein pled guilty to soliciting underage prostitution in 2008. These emails not only expose the contradictions in Prince Andrew’s statements but also suggest a troubling tendency to evade accountability. His actions indicate a belief that he could escape the ramifications of his associations.’
‘We hope that the days of impunity for the powerful are over, and that protection for predators will no longer be tolerated. A higher standard must be set for our leaders, both in the United States and beyond. It is time for accountability, transparency, and justice for all survivors.’”
