Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday morning to discuss newly declassified documents that she says prove Barack Obama personally orchestrated the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
On Friday, Gabbard released a December 2016 presidential briefing showing Obama was aware that the Trump-Russia narrative was a fabrication. The documents revealed coordination between Obama, his national security team, and intelligence officials like Susan Rice, John Brennan, James Comey, and James Clapper to create false intelligence and spread it through the media.
Gabbard told Bartiromo that more documents related to the Russia investigation will be released this coming week. Bartiromo added that her sources believe the upcoming release is connected to the 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago. Gabbard did not confirm this claim but did not refute it either.
“Accountability, action, prosecution, indictments for those who are responsible for trying to steal our…” Gabbard said during the interview.

The question remains: will this next release shed light on the Biden administration’s raid on Mar-a-Lago?
In 2022, the FBI raided Trump’s Florida home and seized boxes of records. Over three dozen heavily armed agents conducted the raid in August. That November, a special counsel was appointed by Biden’s Department of Justice to investigate the classified documents found at the estate.
Court filings later showed the FBI had authorization to use deadly force during the operation, a decision approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland. Photos were released of allegedly classified materials displayed on the floor of Mar-a-Lago, which critics called staged.
What exactly was the FBI searching for?
Investigative journalist Paul Sperry suggested the FBI had a “personal stake” in the raid, possibly seeking documents tied to the Spygate scandal. He posted at the time:
“Investigators reportedly met back in June w Trump & his lawyers in Mar-a-Lago storage rm to survey docs & things seemed copasetic but then FBI raids weeks later. Speculation on Hill FBI had PERSONAL stake & searching for classified docs related to its #Spygate scandal.”
Kash Patel, now serving as FBI Director under Trump’s second administration, confirmed Sperry’s reporting. Patel, a key figure in the original Russiagate investigation under Rep. Devin Nunes, previously appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show to discuss the raid and the affidavit used to justify it.
Patel stated the true motive behind the raid was to block the release of documents Trump had declassified—documents that allegedly exposed FBI and DOJ misconduct during the Russia probe.
“We got out 60% of the documents from the Russiagate investigation. 40% remained. President Trump declassified those specific documents,” Patel said. “And this entire raid on his house I believe was to prevent the disclosure… Because now that they have an open FBI intelligence investigation they will shield any release of documents.”
He concluded by calling on Congress and whistleblowers to act:
“Congress has a lot of work to do and I’m glad whistleblowers are coming forward. They need to be doing so in droves.”
