Donald Trump has once again stirred controversy, this time by visiting a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, where he made fries and worked the drive-thru. Given that Trump is the Republican nominee for president and has faced two assassination attempts, it’s understandable that customers going through the drive-thru would be screened first.
However, the media has turned the screening process into a scandal, claiming that since Trump doesn’t actually work at McDonald’s, his actions were insincere. Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” humorously remarked, “I found out from the press today that he didn’t actually work at McDonald’s. This was fake, this was a publicity stunt.”
He further criticized, “The people in line, they were all hand-selected. So they weren’t just strangers driving up to the drive-thru. They checked to make sure they were the right people. And you know what I mean by ‘right people.’” Beck then added, “People without guns.”
Stu Burguiere joined in on the mockery, quipping, “How did they uncover this? What a scam, I’m voting for Kamala Harris. She’s the only honest person who seemingly worked at McDonald’s but has no evidence of it whatsoever.”
Despite the backlash, Trump garnered significant attention, drawing thousands of supporters to the Pennsylvania restaurant. Glenn remarked on the massive crowd, stating, “I have never seen an election like this,” and added, “It goes on and on and on and on.”
