President Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) are in a public feud that intensified on Saturday, with Trump introducing new nicknames for his former ally.
The discord began on Friday when Trump publicly criticized Greene and revoked his endorsement of her. Greene retaliated by accusing Trump of abandoning his principles and suggested he was obstructing the release of documents related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. In response, Trump launched a series of attacks on Saturday morning, presenting two new nicknames.
“Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was. Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)!” Trump stated in a post on Truth Social.

Not content with just one moniker, Trump followed up with another nickname just 37 minutes later.
“Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Green (sic) is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” he wrote.

Trump also reiterated his Friday denunciation of Greene, detailing his grievances and criticizing her for not promoting his achievements while blaming her recent attacks on his lack of support for a potential higher office run.
He remarked that “all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” and labeled her a “ranting Lunatic.”
Greene responded on Friday, claiming Trump was lying about her and attributing the conflict to her advocacy for the release of Epstein-related documents.
“Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files,” Greene posted on X. “And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next week’s vote to release the Epstein files. It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.”
Greene also shared screenshots of text messages she had sent to Trump, stating, “President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge.”

On Saturday morning, Greene reiterated her position, asserting that the conflict arose solely because she was “fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites.”
The division within the Republican Party regarding the Epstein case has been notable during Trump’s second term, leading to a rare dissent within a caucus typically loyal to him. Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) have emerged as the most vocal Republicans opposing the president, fueling the ongoing feud.
