In a moment reminiscent of “tell it like it is,” former President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on President Joe Biden during a powerful Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) address.
Throughout the speech, Trump embraced the label of ‘dissident’ and likened himself to Robin Hood, wearing the title as a mark of distinction.
By adopting this persona, he positioned himself as the primary adversary to President Biden, asserting that Biden’s actions have set the world on a dangerous course towards a potential World War III.

Trump once again compares himself to American gangster Al Capone during CPAC speech
Donald Trump once again compared himself to infamous mob boss Al Capone during his speech at CPAC on Saturday 24 February.

Trump delivered these remarks during a victory speech following his decisive win over his last GOP opponent, Nikki Haley, by a margin of approximately 20 points in her home state.
Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina and Ambassador to the United Nations under President Trump, acknowledged her defeat in Saturday’s primary but affirmed her commitment to continuing her presidential nomination campaign.
After expressing his views on Haley and suggesting that she should suspend her campaign to help unite the Party, Trump shifted his focus to President Biden. He criticized Biden for allegedly weaponizing the Department of Justice against Conservatives and those who oppose woke ideology.
“A vote for Trump is your ticket back to freedom,” Trump asserted. “It’s your passport out of tyranny, and it’s your only escape from Joe Biden and his gang’s fast track to hell.”
“I stand before you today,” Trump continued, “not only as your past and hopefully future president but also as a proud political dissident. I am a dissident.”
Surprisingly, despite facing four indictments, 91 federal charges, and numerous civil charges that could potentially result in more than 100 years in prison, Trump has emerged as the de facto GOP presidential nominee.
Several polls indicate that Trump holds a slight advantage over President Biden in a hypothetical rematch of the 2020 election. The potential entry of a third-party candidate is expected to negatively impact Biden more than Trump.
As Trump criticized various aspects of the Department of Justice’s actions, the crowd began chanting, “We want Trump.”
Encouraged by the response, Trump continued, “Four years ago, I warned you that if crooked Joe Biden reached the White House, our borders would be open, our middle class would suffer, and our communities would be plagued by chaos and violence.”
“We were right about everything,” he emphasized.
Steve Bannon echoed Trump’s sentiments, asserting that Trump was a victim, did not lose in 2020, and will emerge victorious in 2024.
Doubling down on his stance, Bannon likened Trump to Lincoln and Washington, suggesting that Trump’s fate is intertwined with the destiny of the nation.
"Media, I want you to suck on this… Donald Trump is the legitimate president of the United States."
