President Donald Trump has issued a sharp warning to the mainstream media, labeling CNN, MSNBC (which he refers to as MSDNC), and other left-leaning outlets as “corrupt” and “illegal” for their biased coverage. He accused these networks of spreading propaganda to manipulate public perception and, more critically, influence judicial rulings.
For years, the mainstream media has collaborated with the radical left to portray a distorted narrative in which Trump is depicted as the antagonist while their Democratic allies are cast as heroes. This manipulated reality, fed to viewers worldwide, has dangerous consequences, according to Trump.
During a rare address at the Department of Justice, Trump did not mince words, condemning these networks for operating more like the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party than legitimate news organizations.
“I believe that CNN and MSDNC, who literally write 97.6% bad about me, are political arms of the Democrat Party. And in my opinion, they’re really corrupt, and they’re illegal. What they do is—it’s legal,” Trump stated unequivocally.
He emphasized that the media’s biased coverage persists regardless of his achievements or the failures of his opponents. “It makes no difference how big a victory I had. I can have the biggest victory in history. It makes no difference what a failure the other side has—these people are going to go after me,” he said.
Trump further argued that the media’s deliberate distortion of the truth is influencing judicial decisions, making fair trials impossible in the United States.
“These networks and these newspapers are really no different than a highly paid political operative, and it has to stop. It has to be illegal. It’s influencing judges, and it’s really changing the law. And it just cannot be legal. I don’t believe it’s legal. And they do it in total coordination with each other,” Trump declared.
Trump made it clear that his administration is focused on restoring law, order, and integrity to the American system.
“Everything we do, we’re restoring law, restoring order, and restoring public safety in America. We’re bringing honor and integrity and accountability back to the highest levels of the FBI, DOJ, and throughout our government. We’re bringing our country back faster than anyone ever thought possible. We’re working so hard at doing it, and we want fairness in the courts. The courts are a big factor,” he said.
Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing legal battles and what he describes as politically motivated attacks against him. He has been a frequent target of what he calls “lawfare” waged by radical activist judges, far-left prosecutors, and juries in heavily Democratic states.
According to Trump, the mainstream media serves as the propaganda machine for the Deep State, undermining America’s institutions by poisoning public opinion and corrupting the judicial system. From the Russia investigation to the impeachment trials, the January 6th investigations, and other legal challenges, Trump has faced relentless opposition from what he views as a corrupt establishment.
The legacy media, Trump argues, portrays him and his supporters as “threats to democracy” while they themselves erode the foundations of American democracy by manipulating public perception and influencing the judicial process.
