On Friday night, Sen. Lindsey Graham asserted that Georgia’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp, who has been labeled a RINO, pledged to go “all-in” on supporting Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.
During an interview on Hannity, Graham mentioned that he attended a GOP fundraiser on Wednesday where Kemp committed to using his entire “political machine” to help Trump defeat Kamala Harris.
“When [Kemp] spoke, the first thing out of his mouth, he looked at everybody in the room and said, ‘I want Donald Trump to win Georgia. I’m all in for Donald Trump. I’m going to give him my political machine,’” Graham recalled. He added that Kemp declared, “I’ve got a great ground game, Imma put money behind it, and we’re going to win Georgia for Trump because Harris is a disaster for Georgia.”

Kemp, who narrowly defeated Democrat Stacey Abrams with Donald Trump’s support in 2018, later distanced himself from the former president by refusing to challenge the widespread voter fraud allegations that many believe contributed to Joe Biden’s victory in Georgia and other states during the 2020 election.
This perceived betrayal has not been forgotten by Trump, who recently criticized Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for failing to secure Georgia’s elections and for what he described as ineffective governance in the state.

Raffensperger responded by defending his record and asserting that Georgia’s elections were secure. Kemp also fired back at Trump, accusing him of resorting to “petty personal insults.”
