President Trump Issues a Warning to Joe Biden

Wis. Supreme Court Justice Questions Racism In Trump Lawsuit

President Donald Trump has taken quite a bit of heat from his critics in both the House and the Senate this week, following the violent and deadly attacks that occurred in the nation’s capital last week.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have both demanded that the president either resign from office or be removed by the invocation of the 25th Amendment or be subject to another round of impeachment hearings.

According to the Washington Examiner, in some of his first televised remarks in the wake of the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, Trump turned the tables on the idea of being removed via the 25th Amendment, warning President-elect Joe Biden that he needs to worry about that more than him.

“The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration,” Trump said. “As the expression goes, be careful what you wish for.”

His remarks came as he visited Texas to give remarks at the border wall while highlighting all of the good that has come out of having such a wall to protect the United States from the influx of illegal aliens that was especially prevalent during former President Barack Obama’s tenure.

“We’re stopping in large numbers the drugs coming into the country for many, many years and decades,” Trump said. “We’re stopping a lot of illegal immigration.”

The trip to Texas marked the first time Trump has left the White House since last Wednesday’s deadly riots.

As he left the White House on Tuesday on his way to board Marine One, many of his staffers reportedly cheered him on from the south lawn. Trump paused momentarily to answer a few questions from extremely anxious reporters who attempted to elicit a response from the president all week.

Trump insisted in his remarks that he wasn’t responsible for the actions that occurred on that deadly day, instead defending his speech that he gave to his tens of thousands of supporters just minutes before many of them peeled off and briefly overtook the Capitol Building by force.

“If you read my speech, and many people have done it and I’ve seen it both in the papers and in the media, on television, it’s been analyzed and people thought that what I said was totally appropriate,” the president insisted.
