Hold on to your hats fellow Republicans, because there’s breaking news that’ll make you want to shout “I told you so!” It turns out that the PNC Financial Services Group Inc. has ended its business relationship with the news aggregation app, MxM News, launched by Donald Trump Jr. and Taylor Budowich. According to Fox News Digital sources, the bank has executed its decision without giving any reason! Naturally, Budowich was not happy when he visited PNC’s Florida branch office to pay vendor invoices and learned that the account had been closed and the balance zeroed. Outrageously, PNC’s representative said closure of accounts is their prerogative, even without any cause. Isn’t that just the most ridiculous thing you’ve heard lately?
If you’re a fan of Donald Trump Jr., you’ll probably know he has always been on the lookout for ways to help fellow conservatives. And MxM News was a platform aimed at that very goal. Donald Trump Jr. alleges that this decision was not politically neutral, and PNC Bank must have something up their sleeves. He said they need to investigate this closure and make it illegal to discriminate based on political affiliation. We totally agree with him!
On the other hand, the PNC Bank has retorted that it does not consider the political beliefs of its customers when making such decisions. They insist that account closures are never driven by politics. Hmm, we will see!
The sudden closure of this account comes as no surprise to us Republicans who’ve seen big corporations make discriminatory decisions fueled by political bias.
