On Saturday evening, former First Lady Melania Trump, wife of former President Donald Trump, headlined a fundraiser, marking her first solo event of the 2024 campaign.
Grenell, who served as Director of National Intelligence under Trump and was the first openly gay U.S. cabinet official, expressed confidence at the event that Trump will secure the gay vote in 2024. Grenell emphasized that Trump is the best candidate for safety, security, and prosperity and views everyone as equal.
Grenell also predicted that Trump, with Melania’s support, will garner at least 50 percent of the gay vote in 2024. Eure, a senior vice president at Willis Towers Watson and a leading Log Cabin Republican, agreed, noting that gay voters are increasingly voting based on broader issues such as economics and public safety.

“We have seen four years of President Trump and almost four years of President Biden. No person with common sense, regardless of their sexual orientation, can honestly say they’re better off now, under Biden, than they were with President Trump,” Eure said. “We are so blessed to have such a gorgeous and generous first lady stand by our side.”
White, a prominent Log Cabin Republican known for his efforts in Atlanta to separate the Buckhead neighborhood into its own city due to ineffective Democratic leadership, stated that Melania Trump is Donald Trump’s key asset in winning important voting constituencies across the country.
White, who is also the CEO of Constellations Group, described Melania Trump as kind and generous, asserting that President Trump couldn’t have a better representative to communicate why they are the best choice for all Americans in the upcoming November election. He emphasized that they offer the best hope for families, livelihoods, and safety.
A source told Breitbart News that the star-studded fundraiser raised more than $1.2 million for the Log Cabin Republicans and sold out within two days of its announcement. Held in Mar-a-Lago’s Tea Room, the event marked Melania Trump’s first solo appearance for her husband in 2024. Previously, she attended a record-breaking fundraiser with her husband in Palm Beach, but she is now beginning to take an independent role.
Notable attendees included Liz Ailes, the widow of Fox News founder Roger Ailes; Fox News contributor Caitlyn Jenner; San Francisco Giants owner Deborah McGowan; television personality and 2022 U.S. Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehmet Oz; and approximately 80 other prominent supporters of the cause. White and his husband, Eure, co-hosted the event and accompanied Melania Trump into the fundraiser. The former first lady spoke about the importance of uniting to protect the country they cherish.
As we look toward the future and the challenges that lie ahead, we must come together around the principles of liberty, justice, and patriotism. By uniting in our common goals, we can create a brighter and more promising future for all. https://t.co/Vbyt8yor8X pic.twitter.com/Kj4fZPKDaw
