South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham asserts that the United States must fully back Israel in its conflict with Hamas in Gaza. He criticizes President Joe Biden’s stance as “backward,” emphasizing that Iran, not Israel, should be the primary concern. Graham echoes former President Trump’s view that Hamas must be defeated militarily and urges support for Trump to restore global stability.

Speaking on NBC’s Meet The Press, Graham tells host Kristen Welker that Biden’s Middle East policy is flawed, urging a shift in focus towards holding Iran accountable for its actions. He highlights that Israel is not targeting American soldiers, unlike Iran and its proxies. Graham urges Biden to prioritize addressing Iran’s actions and to provide unwavering support to Israel while addressing humanitarian concerns cautiously to avoid empowering enemies.

When President Biden is talking about Prime Minister Netanyahu and not Hamas, he’s got it backward.

We should be talking about red lines for Iran, not Israel.

We should be all-in for helping Israel and trying to help fix the humanitarian crisis.

But we shouldn’t say or do… pic.twitter.com/DOGgwijrpe

Graham charged Biden with jeopardizing global welfare on all fronts, citing “border failures” and declaring a state of global crisis.

If there was ever an election in the history of America that deserves a debate between the two candidates, it's this election.

If Joe Biden is really "energetic," he needs to get on stage and debate Donald Trump. pic.twitter.com/m1KhHCjS2a

According to the South Carolina Republican, a key ally of former President Trump, the most accurate way to evaluate Trump’s second term is by his actions in the first. He pointed out that during Trump’s tenure, Russia did not invade Ukraine, Hamas did not attempt to destroy Israel, and the Taliban did not control Afghanistan. Graham also concurred that if one is concerned about global instability, those concerns are justified. He further stated that if one believes Biden’s policies lack deterrence and portray weakness to adversaries, that belief is justified as well. Graham concluded by suggesting that voting for Trump is necessary to restore order to the world.

If you're worried about the world being on fire right now, you're right.

If you think Joe Biden's policies lack deterrence and he's weak in the eyes of our enemies, you're right.

If you want to get the world back in order, you'd better vote for Donald Trump in November. pic.twitter.com/VujzlLWRGd

Criticizing Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address, where it seemed he implied that the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas might retain power after the Gaza war, the senator insisted that “President Trump deems it nonnegotiable regarding Hamas; they must be militarily dismantled.”

“They cannot hold authority,” he emphasized. “Therefore, I’m urging the Biden administration to clarify this stance. Allowing Hamas to remain in power is unacceptable, and we cannot let them regroup for future actions.”

“The issue of hostages is significant, but we must maintain an unequivocal policy to eradicate Hamas’s military capabilities,” he stressed.

Graham also highlighted that under Trump’s presidency, Arab states “acknowledged Israel through the Abraham Accords,” signifying the historic peace agreements brokered by Trump between Israel and several Arab allies.

Under Biden's weak leadership:
– Israel is under attack.
– The Houthis are attacking us.
– US Servicemembers are being killed on post.

I nominated President Trump, the creator of the Abraham Accords, for the Nobel Peace Prize to recognize his strong leadership & his efforts to…

“In the comparison between Biden and Trump regarding who is the most stable for the world, Trump unquestionably emerges as the clear victor,” Graham asserted.

This statement arises amidst President Biden’s encounters with political hurdles and dwindling approval ratings, while former President Donald Trump leads in various polls.
