The liberal media was buzzing with excitement over Kamala Harris’s plan to troll President Trump during Saturday’s Alabama-Georgia football game.
CNN’s Kaitlin Collins wrote, “When former President Donald Trump looks up from his seat at Bryant-Denny Stadium, he may see more than just 100,000 fans. Vice President Kamala Harris plans to troll her opponent over his refusal to debate her a second time—this time from the skies.”
Harris’s campaign had arranged for a plane to fly over the stadium with a banner reading, “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate.” A campaign official told CNN the banner would be visible to both fans in the stadium and a national audience through an ad aired during the game. The ad’s narrator declared, “Winners never back down from a challenge. Champions are ready anytime, anyplace. But losers whine and waffle and take their ball home.”
Harris accepted CNN’s invitation for a second debate next month, but Trump has declined, citing the October 23rd date as “too late,” with early voting already underway in some states. This comes after mid-October debates in the 2016 and 2020 elections in which Trump participated.
Interestingly, Kamala Harris had previously turned down a debate hosted by Fox News, a point conveniently overlooked by her campaign.
In the end, Harris’s trolling attempt didn’t happen at all. The much-hyped banner was never flown, reportedly canceled due to weather. Meanwhile, Trump received a rockstar reception from the fans at the game.
