This is why Kamala Harris went 45 days without speaking to the media after she took Joe Biden’s delegates in July. Harris recently sat down for an interview with podcaster Roland Martin to discuss the “Black agenda.”
The more Harris engages with the media, the worse things seem to get for her campaign, which appears to be in a downward spiral, with internal polling numbers likely reflecting the damage.
During the interview, Harris veered off-script, creating an awkward moment.
“I talked with somebody once who said, ‘You know, if you just look at where the stars are in the sky, don’t look at ’em as just random things. If you just look at ’em as points, look at the constellation — what does it show you?’” Harris said.

Harris also acknowledged that the “American Dream” seems increasingly out of reach for many, a situation she suggested has worsened despite Democratic leadership over the past 12 out of 16 years.
“We have the ability to give people the opportunity to achieve what generations before called the ‘American Dream,’” she said, admitting that it is now “out of reach for too many.”
