Jill Biden, the first lady, has been put in the awkward position of having to defend her husband against concerns about his age and cognitive abilities. When asked about it in an interview, she responded defensively, saying that they would never even discuss something like that. But with former White House doctor Ronny Jackson publicly questioning Biden’s mental health, the issue is not going away anytime soon.

Despite the criticism, Jill Biden remains steadfast in her support for her husband, pointing to his active schedule and rigorous travel as evidence that he is still sharp and capable. And while Joe Biden himself hasn’t yet announced whether he will run for re-election in 2024, his wife says they will wholeheartedly support whatever decision he makes.
However, there are some who remain unconvinced. According to RNC Research, Joe Biden has spent a whopping 40% of his presidency on vacation. And with Jackson calling for a cognitive assessment and even suggesting that Biden himself is the “cancer” that needs to be removed, it’s clear that some Republicans are gearing up for a fight if he does decide to run again.
