Reza Pahlavi, Iran’s exiled crown prince, characterized President Donald Trump as the “total opposite” of former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden regarding their support for the Iranian populace.
Pahlavi’s commendation of Trump coincides with ongoing anti-government protests in Iran against the Islamic regime led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
TRUMP FIRST YEAR REPORT CARD: A- PROMISE KEEPER OR ‘NIGHTMARE’ FAILURE
Trump has pledged to assist demonstrators should the regime execute them and is contemplating military action against Iran, though no decision has been finalized.
In a message broadcast on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, Pahlavi stated, “You have already established your legacy as a man committed to peace and fighting evil forces. There’s a reason why people in Iran are renaming streets after your name. They know that you’re [the] total opposite of Barack Obama or Joe Biden. They know that you’re not going to throw them under the bus, as they have had before.”

The crown prince urged U.S. support for the Iranian people, asserting that Trump’s rhetoric against Iran has had a “tremendous positive effect” that inspires calls for freedom within the country.
“Let’s hope that we can permanently seal this legacy by liberating Iran, so that we and you can make Iran great again,” he remarked. “Let’s partner on this and have a better future for our countries and for our people.”

Pahlavi expressed his readiness to return to Iran “at the first possible opportunity” if Khamenei is overthrown, adding that he and many Iranians are prepared to die for the cause if necessary.
Trump has consistently warned Khamenei against harming protesters, with at least 420 individuals, including eight children, confirmed dead since the demonstrations began two weeks ago, according to the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency. This figure marks a significant rise from earlier reports.
Trump attributed some deaths to “stampedes” occurring in large crowds, suggesting that many fatalities result from crowd chaos rather than direct violence from Iranian security forces. However, activists and locals assert that security forces are openly using military rifles against civilians.
Iran is currently experiencing an internet and communications blackout, which Khamenei’s regime is exploiting to suppress the widespread protests.
TRUMP SAYS MEETING WITH IRANIAN CROWN PRINCE CALLING FOR PROTESTS WOULD NOT BE ‘APPROPRIATE’
Despite Pahlavi’s praise, Trump dismissed the idea of meeting with him, deeming it inappropriate given the volatile situation in Iran. Pahlavi has been encouraging Iranians to resist the Islamic regime through mass protests.
“I’ve watched him and he seems like a nice person, but I’m not sure that it would be appropriate at this point to do that as president,” Trump told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. “I think that we should let everybody go out there and we see who emerges. I’m not sure necessarily that it would be an appropriate thing to do.”
