What might Hunter Biden be seeking during his visit?
Hunter Biden was seen entering a Los Angeles church on Friday, notably wearing a bracelet that has become a recognizable symbol due to its appearance in several controversial photos stored on his infamous laptop.
Although he lost his notorious laptop and Colt Cobra revolver during his struggles with crack cocaine addiction, Hunter has retained the distinct silver bracelet seen in many compromising images from his hard drive. On this visit to St. Mary In Palms Episcopal Church, near Culver City, the 54-year-old wore the bracelet on his right wrist.
This same bracelet appears in a photo dated October 17, 2018, found on Hunter’s laptop. In the image, he is holding a Gamo PT-80 CO2 semi-automatic air pistol while naked in a hotel room with a nude prostitute nearby. He purchased the air pistol on the same day from the same Wilmington, Delaware, gun shop where he illegally bought the revolver. The bracelet is also seen in another photo where Hunter lounges naked in a bathtub, smoking a cigarette.
Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, accompanied him to the church, but they arrived in separate cars.
St. Mary In Palms, part of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, is described as offering Anglo-Catholic worship and a welcoming community to a small but dedicated congregation. The church is noted for its commitment to justice for the poor and oppressed and boasts excellent “food, coffee, and chilled coconut milk,” according to the diocese’s blog.
Hunter’s visit to the church coincided with his father’s meeting with Pope Francis at the G7 summit in Italy. President Biden, a Roman Catholic, embraced the pontiff with a forehead-to-forehead hug during a public interaction, and the two later met privately.
Earlier this week, Hunter was convicted on three felony counts for lying about his drug use on a federal gun form and unlawfully possessing the revolver. He is scheduled to go on trial in California on September 5 for alleged tax-related felonies.
