There continues to be widespread speculation that former first lady and two-time Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton will make a third run for the White House in 2024.
Clinton posted a tweet showing her standing on an airport tarmac in front of a plane with “Clinton Gore” on it with this photo caption: “On the move, 1992” — a reference to the year her husband, Bill Clinton
The tweet showed a picture of Clinton standing on a tarmac in front of a plane with the words “Clinton Gore” on it.
“On the move, 1992,” Clinton captioned the photo.
The Western Journal adds:
In 1992, Bill Clinton was running for president with Al Gore as his running mate. The photo, then, likely shows Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail with her husband.
Online users took the tweet to be a hint of things that may be yet to come for Clinton.
“This is what Hillary Clinton tweeted right after the announcement that Biden has Covid,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ spokesperson Christina Pushaw wrote. “Very subtle.”
Last month, Clinton gave an interview to the Financial Times where she talked about her own political career, former President Donald Trump, Biden’s presidency, and the 2024 election as she ruled out ever campaigning for the office herself again.
“No, out of the question,” she said. “First of all, I expect Biden to run. He certainly intends to run. It would be very disruptive to challenge that.”
