Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) revealed Wednesday that her office had received a “very serious shooting threat.”
“This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone killed,” the Florida congresswoman, representing the 13th District, stated in a post on X.
“I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.”
Luna, a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump, did not provide further details about the timing or specifics of the threat.
The revelation comes just days after she said she had been doxxed and received threatening packages, following her former Democratic opponent’s accusation that she was a “threat to democracy.”
“I will continue to fight for the wonderful people who have elected me, as well as those across the country who feel they are being left behind,” Luna added. “Please keep my family in your prayers. Hate has no place here.”
