As Hunter Biden faces the possibility of being indicted on criminal charges this week, his ex-close associate Devon Archer will make a final attempt to evade imprisonment by presenting his case in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday.
As Hunter Biden’s situation seems to be taking a toll on him, individuals familiar with his mindset have advised Devon Archer to come to terms with the fact that the Bidens have abandoned him, and that a presidential pardon at the eleventh hour is not on the cards.
Those close to Archer have implored him to protect himself by utilizing the only bargaining chip he possesses – his knowledge about the Biden family’s influence-peddling operation that he witnessed firsthand during Joe Biden’s vice-presidential term, which spanned four years.
Devon Archer’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings has put him in a difficult position, particularly as he faces a potential jail sentence.
Archer had been present at meetings where Hunter arranged for his foreign business partners to meet with his father, Joe Biden, or speak to him on the phone. Additionally, Archer was famously photographed meeting with then-Vice President Biden in his White House office just weeks before Archer and Hunter joined the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company accused of corruption.
With his fraud conviction reinstated by a Trump-appointed judge after being overturned by an Obama-appointed judge, Archer is now “caught between two presidents,” according to sources close to him.
It is interesting to note the connection between Archer and former President Donald Trump. Archer’s family had helped Trump hide his affair with his then-mistress, Marla Maples, in the 1990s.
Archer also had a chance encounter with Trump in January 2021 when they coincidentally found themselves sitting next to each other at the clubhouse of Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course. Trump commented on Archer’s golf attire, and they exchanged banter before Archer reminded him that they had met before.
It seems that Archer has had a long-standing connection to the Trump family. When Archer was 17, his family on Long Island helped Donald Trump hide his affair with Marla Maples, who later became his wife and the mother of their daughter, Tiffany Trump. Archer’s uncle, Charles Melniker, was Maples’ manager at the time, and whenever she came to the Melnikers’ Roslyn home, Archer was tasked with keeping her busy by playing tennis with her and driving her around in his Jeep.
It’s interesting to hear about the connections between Devon Archer and Donald Trump through their past association with Marla Maples. It’s not uncommon for people in certain social circles to have overlapping relationships and connections. However, it’s important to note that these personal relationships do not necessarily have any bearing on the legal proceedings Archer is currently facing.
