Biden’s Response Sparks Controversy When Asked on ‘The View’ if He Was Pushed Out of the Race

Individual Accusing Biden of Criminal Bribery Scheme Identified as ‘Highly Credible’ FBI Source Utilized Since Obama Administration: Insider

A blind squirrel is likely still far more perceptive than the collective co-hosts of the daytime talk show “The View”—but even those loud leftists occasionally stumble upon a genuinely newsworthy “nut.”

It’s a rare occurrence, and certainly not intentional, but Wednesday’s episode of “The View” actually provided an intriguing tidbit for its audience. That episode featured an interview with sitting President Joe Biden, offering a fascinating glimpse into the mind of the soon-to-be one-term president.

Many viewers were particularly interested in Biden’s response to a question about whether he had been pushed out of the upcoming November general election. While Biden has consistently stated that his decision not to seek re-election was his own, speculation has been rife that top Democrats may have forced his hand.

This speculation was brought up during the show, leading to a revealing moment. Biden’s body language and response did not go unnoticed:

“Did Nancy Pelosi force Biden out of the race?” was the question implied by Alyssa Farah Griffin, the show’s token Republican.

“We all agree at this table that it’s very selfless of you to pass the baton and step aside,” Griffin told Biden before continuing, “There was a perception that, perhaps, your hand was forced, and some pointed fingers to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who you have a long relationship with, and accomplished many things with.”

At that point, the camera cut to Biden, who wore a noticeable smirk.

Griffin then directly asked, “Did you feel that your hand was forced, and what is your relationship with Speaker Pelosi now?”

Biden, somewhat uncomfortably, began to respond, “My relationship is fine—look, I…” [nervous chuckle and awkward silence followed].

Eventually, the president managed to finish his response, stating, “I never fully believed the assertions that, somehow, there was this overwhelming reluctance of my running again. I didn’t sense that. And although the polling and everything said, ‘Biden’s polling different,’ the fact of the matter is, my polling was about, you know, always in range of beating this guy [GOP candidate Donald Trump].

“And, uh. But, uh. I… What I did was, I think there were—it makes sense. There were some folks who would like to see me step aside, they have a chance to move on. I get that, that’s human nature. But that wasn’t the reason I stepped down.”

This response raised more than a few eyebrows, especially the part where Biden alluded to “some folks” wanting him to step aside. It seemed to lend weight to the rumors that he may not have left voluntarily.

In the months following Biden’s July decision to drop out, reports began to surface suggesting that “some folks” included powerful Democratic figures. As Griffin hinted, Nancy Pelosi was rumored to be among them, though that’s hardly surprising given the current political climate.

Rumors also swirled that former President Barack Obama had some influence in Biden’s exit, with reports suggesting Biden was just as frustrated with Obama as with Pelosi.

Biden’s response on “The View” did little to quell the speculation. Instead of firmly denying he was pushed out, Biden’s hesitant, wordy response seemed to leave room for doubt—fueling speculation about deep rifts within the Democratic Party.

“The Kamala campaign will not be happy to see this out,” one user on X remarked about the awkward segment.

And to think, this moment came courtesy of ABC’s far-left talk show. You can check out the full clip below:
