During an interview with radio host Howard Stern on Friday, President Biden expressed his readiness to debate former President Trump.
“I am, somewhere, I don’t know when, but I’m happy to debate him,” Biden said, after Stern said he didn’t know whether Biden would participate in a debate.
Trump, the presumed Republican nominee, has openly urged Biden to agree to debates in the upcoming fall season.
The Trump campaign recently pushed for more 2024 presidential debates and requested them to occur “much earlier” than the debate commission’s initial timeline. Trump told Fox News Digital he is “completely prepared” to debate Biden “anytime, anywhere, and in any setting.”
