Virginia Giuffre speaks from beyond the grave.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, known as one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent victims, tragically passed away in Australia six months ago, with her death ruled a suicide. Many were left shocked, especially after Giuffre had publicly declared on social media that she was not suicidal.
“I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal. I have made this known to my therapist and GP – If something happens to me – in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quieted.”
She lived surrounded by mystery and intrigue, and her death was no different.
In her lifetime, Giuffre achieved significant victories, securing financial compensation from Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew. Now, her posthumous memoir, set to release next week, promises to shed light on her experiences of abuse by influential figures and her pursuit of justice.
One striking assertion from Giuffre’s memoir is that Prince Andrew believed it was his ‘birthright’ to engage with her when she was a 17-year-old trafficking victim.
The 400-page book is generating buzz, with excerpts already circulating. Giuffre alleges that Andrew raped and abused her on three occasions when she was a minor. Although the Duke of York has denied these claims, he reached a multimillion-dollar settlement in Giuffre’s civil lawsuit.
The Telegraph reported:
“In the book, Giuffre states: ‘In the years since, I’ve thought a lot about how he behaved. He was friendly enough, but still entitled – as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright’.”
She also claims to have received $15,000 from Epstein for ‘servicing the man the tabloids called ‘Randy Andy’.’”
Giuffre’s father, Sky Roberts, contests the notion that she took her own life.
In her memoir, Giuffre describes feeling ‘like Cinderella’ before meeting Andrew, who she recalls as a ‘bumbling dancer’ prone to sweating. She writes:
“On the way back, Maxwell told me, ’When we get home, you are to do for him what you do for Jeffrey’. We disrobed and got in the tub, but didn’t stay there long because the prince was eager to get to the bed. He was particularly attentive to my feet, caressing my toes and licking my arches.”
The memoir also recounts two additional encounters with Andrew: in Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse and on Little Saint James Island, where Giuffre alleges that a group including Epstein and the Duke engaged in sexual activities with her and several other young girls.
The impending release of her memoir is expected to ignite intense media scrutiny as it reveals more of her harrowing story.
