In the morning, three United States Air Force B-52H Strategic Bombers were observed over international waters near the Venezuelan coast.

The flight attracted attention from 5,000 trackers and sparked international concern as Caracas denounced it as a ‘provocation.’ While the Pentagon labeled the operation as ‘routine training,’ sources suggest that Trump’s recent naval strikes—resulting in five deaths last week and six this month—are escalating the covert conflict.

In response to the B-52s’ activities near La Orchila, Venezuelan F-16s were reportedly dispatched from El Libertador Air Base in Aragua.

Additionally, flight trackers noted that a plane carrying Venezuelans deported from the United States was denied landing authorization by the Venezuelan Air Force.
Amid these military developments, reports have surfaced that the Trump administration is now deploying the CIA in Venezuela.
According to the New York Times, the Trump administration has secretly authorized the CIA to conduct covert actions in Venezuela, intensifying efforts against Maduro.
“This authorization represents the latest phase in the Trump administration’s escalating pressure campaign against Venezuela. The U.S. military has been targeting vessels off the Venezuelan coast accused of drug trafficking, resulting in 27 casualties. American officials have indicated that the ultimate aim is to remove Maduro from power.
The new authority allows the CIA to perform lethal operations in Venezuela and undertake various missions in the Caribbean, either independently or alongside larger military actions. It remains unclear whether the CIA has specific operations planned or if these authorities serve as contingency measures.
