“There were a thousand Charlie Kirks created yesterday. The tyrant dies and his rule is over. The martyr dies and his rule begins.” — Glenn Beck
In a stirring address, Kirk’s widow, Erika, made a bold declaration: “They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism and God’s merciful love. You should all know this. You thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before?… You have no idea what you just unleashed across this entire country. In this world… You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. Cries of this widow will echo around the world…, the movement my husband built will not die… It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever.”
While I won’t dignify George “Fentanyl” Floyd or his liberal supporters by comparing his death to Charlie Kirk’s, the reactions to both events are notable. Following Floyd’s death from a heart attack, leftist protests erupted across the U.S., resulting in billions in damages and numerous injuries, including to police officers. In contrast, after Charlie Kirk’s death, individuals worldwide stepped up to honor his life and vowed to continue his legacy.
Kirk founded the ministry Turning Point, and his passing may signify a pivotal moment in history, encouraging a mass departure from leftist ideologies in favor of free speech, human rights, and a return to Christian values, family, and faith, while rejecting transgenderism, LGBTQ ideology, and woke politics.
Liberalism could be acceptable if it upheld its principles. Instead, it demands acceptance of contradictions: that there is no such thing as a woman, yet anyone can become one; that men can transition to women and even bear children; that unborn children are not human and can be terminated; and that yielding to mob pressure is considered “courage.” One of the most absurd instances is when activists celebrate someone’s “bravery” for transitioning, even as everyone around them encourages the decision.
Charlie Kirk, however, stood against the mob, bravely articulating unpopular truths, ultimately paying the ultimate price. Yet his bravery now inspires individuals worldwide.
In a video message, Steve Bannon noted, “Church is overflowing today. Some people have not been to church in decades. Others, young people, have never been inside a church.” He highlighted how young people are picking up Charlie’s torch: “From Korea to Europe, all over the United States, and like I said, I think it’s 30,000 new chapters of Turning Point.” As of September 16, 2025, this number has reportedly risen to 37,000.
Bannon emphasized that young people are calling Charlie Kirk “one of the most extraordinary leaders in our country,” adding, “I would argue you have to go back to the revolutionary generation to see someone that in his 20s changed the direction of this country.”
A former president of his campus’s Turning Point USA chapter expressed renewed political motivation post-Kirk’s death, sharing that he met Kirk during his “You’re Being Brainwashed” speaking tour and was inspired by the experience.
Brilyn Hollyhand, a young conservative commentator and host of The Brilyn Hollyhand Show, addressed hundreds of college students, stating, “Gen-Z has been awakened after the Charlie Kirk assassination. You can kill a man but you cannot kill a movement.”
Caccialupi Lorenzo, an Italian influencer who supported Kirk’s views on immigration, recounted Erika Kirk’s words: “Charlie Kirk’s wife Ericka said my husband’s voice will remain and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever and that is what we all have to do we have to regardless of our opinion, regardless of our ideas we have to continue to express our opinions and not be afraid to do so.” He then shared footage of millions in the UK protesting against free speech restrictions, noting that while media labeled them far-right extremists, they were simply ordinary people tired of being silenced. “We must continue to speak, we must continue to stand with our opinions, and we must do it also for Charlie,” he concluded, making the sign of the cross.
At a vigil for Charlie Kirk, Real America’s Voice interviewed a fourteen-year-old boy named Bryson. When asked about his attendance, he said, “Charlie Kirk meant to you he was my idol like I remember watching his videos wanting to be like him like I would just see the way he would debate and he would stay calm while the left was just yelling at him and he was just so nice about it and then they hated him so much ‘cause he he knew that he knew he was right but they just didn’t want to admit it so they ended up killing him.”
Even children have been inspired by Charlie’s legacy. A young Christian influencer, Grey Reusch, no older than ten, shared: “My mom and I just watched her whole speech. It was really sad. You know the interesting thing is that she was still full of hope. In John 11, 25, Jesus said, That means Erica was crying over Charlie’s body. But that’s not the end of the story, and she knew it. Because of Jesus, death is not the final word. Charlie believed in Jesus. Truth lives on. Don’t let his courage die. Don’t let this movement die. Keep talking about Jesus, be bold, share your faith. And remind the world that he is the resurrection and the life.”
