Sen. Ted Cruz took action after offensive graffiti appeared along a highway in Houston, painting over a message that featured the phrase “F[—]” alongside the name of Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist who was tragically killed in Utah last week.
“Some deranged individual defaced the 59 freeway in Houston. TXDOT has been informed and will likely remove it quickly. However, Texans shouldn’t have to view this hateful garbage any longer,” Cruz stated in a Sunday post on X.
