President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that a “large group of people” associated with the radical left are under federal investigation regarding the assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk.
Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested after a 33-hour manhunt following the shooting of Kirk during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
In the wake of Kirk’s shooting, online investigators have identified several accounts linked to the transgender and furry communities that seemed to have prior knowledge of the assassination plot.
During a press conference on Sunday, Trump criticized the left for inciting the hatred that led to Kirk’s death. He stated, “If you look at the problem, the problem is on the left. It’s not on the right. When you look at the agitators, you look at the scum that speaks so badly of our country, the American flag burnings all over the place—that’s the left. That’s not the right.”
“We’ll be announcing,” Trump added. “They’re already under major investigation. A lot of the people that you would traditionally say are on the left [are] already under investigation.”

Trump also addressed the possibility of revoking visas for foreigners who celebrated Kirk’s assassination, confirming that they are “looking at names.” He remarked, “We don’t like that. That’s not right. We wouldn’t celebrate if something happened on their side, and we don’t. These are sick people. These are really deranged people.”

According to The New York Post, law enforcement sources indicated that investigators are looking into leftist groups both in Utah and online to determine if they had any involvement in the shooting or were aware of it beforehand.
“The probe includes groups in the online gaming community Steam, as well as a pro-trans organization called Armed Queers SLC, which deleted their Instagram account after Kirk was killed,” the source confirmed.
‘WE F-CKING DID IT’: A user connected to Tyler Robinson’s alleged boyfriend celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death shortly after the shooting.
The investigation has also been corroborated by Fox News, which reported that a source confirmed the “FBI is investigating leftist groups in Utah to see if they had any connection to the alleged shooter.”
Robinson faces charges of capital murder, with the potential for the death penalty if convicted.
