CNN has outright dismissed new evidence alleging a coup led by former President Obama and top officials, with their chief national affairs correspondent claiming the information is “not worth repeating.” The reporter characterized the revelations as political retribution by President Trump and suggested they only surfaced to help Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard regain favor with Trump.
Jeff Zeleny reportedly said all of this:
“I remember when CNN and all the other garbage newsers breathlessly ran every shred of so-called evidence that Trump was a Russian stooge. And now they state as clearly as they can that they are not interested in actual evidence to the contrary, actual evidence of Obama directing a coup against President Trump.”
The commentary continued:
“I also remember when CNN and all the other garbage newsers breathlessly dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop as being Russian disinformation, when it turned out to really belong to Hunter Biden and the FBI knew it all along.”
The piece concludes by labeling CNN and similar outlets as “propaganda media,” claiming they are focused on narrative over fact:
“This is why they are called the propaganda media, because they are only interested in pushing narratives and not the facts. And this is exactly why I call them the garbage media.”
