After leaving office as vice president, Joe Biden signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) from 2017 to 2020. On Monday, he did so again.

“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” CAA Co-chairman Richard Lovett said in a statement. “His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”

Biden published his memoir Promise Me, Dad in 2017, which detailed his relationship with his late son Beau, who passed away in 2015. He later embarked on the “American Promise” tour, which included 45 events and sold “more than 85,000 tickets nationwide,” according to CAA.

The agency also represents former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground media company, as well as other political figures. Additionally, it counts celebrities such as singer Ariana Grande, actor Pedro Pascal, and baseball star Shohei Ohtani among its clients.

In his final interview as president, Biden expressed concerns about the state of democracy. “I really am concerned about how fragile democracy is,” he said. “I really think we’re at an inflection point in history here.”

Biden reportedly plans to write another book, which is expected to include insights into the 2024 election and his decision to concede the Democratic nomination to former Vice President Kamala Harris. He has previously suggested that he could have won if he had continued his campaign against President Donald Trump, a perspective he may elaborate on in his writing.

The former president is also expected to spend more time at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He frequently visited the residence during his presidency but has not returned since November.
