War Room’s Steve Bannon, Natalie Winters, and Raheem Kassam Discuss Global Chaos Stemming from the 2020 Election

Steve Bannon, founder of War Room, and co-host Natalie Winters joined political commentator Raheem Kassam on Saturday at AmFest 2024 to discuss the global chaos they attribute to the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election.

Winters opened the discussion by referencing recent developments in mainstream reporting.

“I think the audience would probably love to hear your thoughts on everything that’s been going on—how Joe Biden has what, never been the President? That’s something we’ve already known. But with all this Wall Street Journal reporting, why do you think they are finally embracing that narrative?” Winters asked.

Kassam emphasized the urgency of investigating the 2020 election as a foundational priority for the incoming administration.

“My perspective on this right now is that, you know, one of the first things that has to happen after January 20th is getting to the bottom of 2020,” Kassam said.

He expressed frustration with how the public has been treated in the aftermath of the election.

“This was an illegitimate President, of an illegitimate regime, that was an illegitimate election. We all saw it happen, and we were gaslit, we were gaslit over and over again. People’s lives were ruined as a result of that election,” Kassam said.

Global Consequences

Kassam pointed to broader consequences he believes stem from the 2020 election.

“Look what has happened to the world as a result of that election,” he said.

Bannon weighed in, connecting current global conflicts to the outcome of the election.

“You have 1.7 million people dead or wounded in Ukraine. Hell, you got all these people dead in Gaza, you know. You got the attack, you got them all dead. None of that would have happened if Donald Trump had been reelected,” Bannon said.

Censorship and Accountability

Winters then turned the discussion to censorship efforts and the resources expended to silence dissent regarding the election, COVID-19, and the Hunter Biden laptop story.

“They spent, what was it, hundreds of millions of dollars censoring all of you in this audience if you even dared to speak up about it,” Winters said.

She added, “Accountability is found in prison sentences, not strongly worded letters and mean tweets.”
