Joe Biden and the Democratic apparatus around him have made one thing clear: they intend to do as much damage to America as possible before leaving office.
Last week alone saw a record number of presidential pardons, including 1,500 commutations for so-called “nonviolent” felons, many of whom had already been released during COVID. However, the White House pushed the limits by pardoning individuals guilty of heinous crimes. These included a Pennsylvania judge who accepted bribes to send kids to a for-profit detention center, an Illinois clerk who embezzled over $53 million from a small town of just 15,000 people, and a Massachusetts woman convicted in a fentanyl-trafficking conspiracy.
And that’s only what’s been uncovered so far as local media across the country dig through the list.
All of this was seemingly a smokescreen for Joe Biden’s ultimate goal: pardoning his corrupt son, Hunter Biden.
This wasn’t just any pardon—it didn’t merely absolve Hunter for crimes he’d admitted to. It also granted him an extraordinary blanket amnesty for any alleged wrongdoings over an 11-year period.
This comes after Biden publicly swore he’d never entertain the idea of such a pardon. “If there’s a more blatant way to confirm America’s suspicions about elite self-dealing—that rules, laws, and accountability mean nothing if you’ve got enough money and connections—we’d love to hear about it.”
Unsurprisingly, only 22% of Americans support Hunter’s pardon. Even prominent Democrats like Sen. Amy Klobuchar, primary challenger Rep. Dean Phillips, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, and Joe Biden’s former top aide Anita Dunn have expressed their outrage.
But Biden’s indulgence in family favors isn’t the administration’s only priority.
The president’s team is relentlessly pushing through a progressive agenda that disregards the will of average Americans. Biden is once again promising another round of student-debt forgiveness, after already sticking taxpayers with over $175 billion.
He also struck a ridiculous work-from-home deal with unions representing 42,000 Social Security Administration employees—further reducing accountability for a significant chunk of the bloated federal workforce and undermining efforts to increase government efficiency.
Adding to the list, Biden has threatened to veto a bipartisan bill to create new federal judgeships—solely to prevent Donald Trump from filling them if he regains the presidency. So much for the “norms” Democrats have endlessly touted.
Meanwhile, Biden’s administration is rushing to spend the remaining billions in congressional funds on pet projects, including federal grants for rural internet and CHIPS Act handouts—money dumped on progressive wish lists rather than productive investments.
It’s clear that the Biden administration has failed miserably during its term. Despite support from nearly every major media outlet and much of corporate America, their arrogance and disastrous policies led to a massive generational loss for Democrats.
Yet, instead of reflecting on their failures, they’re doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down.
Donald Trump will have significant work ahead of him when he takes office. Fortunately, the American people stand with him to fix the mess.
