Eric Trump, the second son of President-Elect Donald Trump, revealed to The Post this week that his father has a detailed agenda ready for his return to the White House in mid-January—and believes he is better positioned to accomplish it thanks to his critics.

“I mean, think about it,” said Trump, 40, a key member of the president-elect’s transition team. “If he had won in 2020, we wouldn’t have the Senate like we do now. We may not have had the House either. He may have been stuck in this lame-duck wasteland. It’s been an incredibly difficult time getting here for him and our entire family. But he’s here now. They didn’t want him in 2020, and so they get him now. Be careful what you wish for.”

The GOP’s hard-fought electoral victories this year are expected to yield significant results—but one goal sits at the top of the to-do list.

“End the wars,” Trump said when asked about his father’s top priority. “Right now, our leaders are allowing Ukraine to shoot missiles into the heart of Russia—a nuclear power. And we’re paying for it. Does anyone actually think that’s a good idea? No. He wants to end the wars. He’s going to end the wars. That’s the day-one priority.”

While Eric Trump holds no official title in the incoming administration, he has taken on the role of a trusted and ever-present adviser to his father.

“Peace is the first goal,” Trump said. “But beyond that, we have a full platform we’ve been working on, and we’re prepared to enact it very quickly. You’re going to see immigration get cracked down on. The walls will be built. Laws will be enforced. And our military will be rebuilt and continue to be the most lethal fighting force on the planet.”

Achieving any of these objectives would mark major victories for the new Republican majority in Washington. But according to Trump, one issue is particularly close to his father’s heart.

“I can’t tell you how obsessed he is with stopping fentanyl from hurting these kids,” he said. “He talks about it constantly. He and I know so many people who have lost family, lost children to this one awful drug. We’re angry. He’s angry. I wouldn’t want to be those cartels or drug manufacturers right now.”

The transition team’s focus, according to Trump, is on “speed and efficiency” as the president-elect and the GOP prepare to tackle some of the nation’s most urgent challenges.

High Noon is coming.

It chimes on Jan. 20, 2025.
