Former congressman Matt Gaetz is now offering personalized videos on Cameo, including roasts, pep talks, or messages for special occasions, starting at $525. Once purchased, customers can share the videos publicly.
As of Saturday, Gaetz had already delivered a video to a customer, with most of his recordings averaging 90 seconds. So far, eight customers have left five-star reviews.
“I served in Congress. Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out). Once I fired the House Speaker,” Gaetz wrote in his Cameo bio.
Gaetz follows in the footsteps of former New York Rep. George Santos, who joined the platform after his expulsion from Congress. Santos, however, charges half of Gaetz’s starting price.
“Welcome to the @BookCameo family @mattgaetz! Let’s gooooooo,” Santos wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
President-elect Donald Trump’s son, Don Jr., also joined Cameo in 2021. While his account is no longer active, he maintained a rating of over 4.9 stars.
Gaetz recently announced he would not seek reelection to Congress. He resigned from the House just hours after Trump nominated him as U.S. Attorney General. However, Trump later replaced Gaetz’s nomination with former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.
