Imagine having no individual political victories, relying on a national media and political establishment to prop you up, and being married to a man named Doug—who allegedly had a public incident of slapping someone. Yet, with this background, Kamala Harris still has the audacity to call Donald Trump “weak.”
Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris and her allies have started using this label for Trump. This comes just months after Trump survived an assassination attempt, where a bullet nearly grazed his head. At a North Carolina rally, Harris referred to Trump as “too weak and unstable,” while her spokesperson, Ian Sams, similarly described him as “withdrawn” and “retreating.”
To put this in perspective, Donald Trump:
• Won the 2016 election while facing opposition from the media, Hollywood, both political parties, and the intelligence community.
• Shifted the Republican Party into the champion of the working and middle classes.
• Overcame two impeachment attempts.
• Continues to run strong in the 2024 election, despite legal challenges from the Biden-Harris administration.
• Survived an assassination attempt where a bullet missed his head by mere inches.
On the other hand, Harris has been elevated to her positions not through achievements of her own but through political support networks. Her ascension to the vice presidency was largely seen as a symbolic nod to identity politics. And while she criticizes Trump, she herself has never faced the same tests of strength or bravery.
Kamala Harris wouldn’t recognize true strength, as she’s never been truly tested. Weakness is the last thing that should be attributed to Donald Trump, especially when compared to her politically cushioned rise. Calling Trump weak only serves to highlight her own lack of depth and courage.
