The more Kamala Harris and Tim Walz speak and make appearances, the more the momentum seems to shift toward former President Donald Trump. So, please, keep it up — it’s working… for Trump.
How are they still so ineffective after all this time? Hasn’t anyone coached them to provide reasonable answers to the questions they keep fumbling again and again? Why can’t Harris articulate anything beyond vague phrases like “middle class” or general talk about “ambitions, dreams, and desires” — which isn’t even supposed to be what the government is responsible for? They seem to have a fundamentally skewed understanding of the government’s role.
Kamala Harris was in Scottsdale, Arizona, at an event with so-called “Republicans” for Harris. If you’re supporting someone who has consistently held such leftist views, it’s hard to believe you’re much of a Republican. She likely staged the event because she’s trailing in Arizona, a state with a significant number of conservatives. This is one of the few times she’s attempted to reach across the aisle.
But what she offered wasn’t much.
Here’s what she said about “world leaders”.
Harris claimed that allies had been saying, “Kamala, I hope you guys are going to be okay.”
I believe that about as much as I believed Jussie Smollett’s story. That isn’t how world leaders talk — except in her imagination. But if they really did say that, did it ever occur to her why? Has she even checked who’s currently in the Oval Office? World leaders are likely concerned, but it’s because of Biden, particularly given his visible cognitive decline.
But Harris hasn’t been honest with us about that. We’ve witnessed how Biden and Harris threw allies under the bus with the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. She couldn’t even call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an ally during her recent “60 Minutes” interview.
Then there’s the irony of her trying to convince the audience that Trump wants to weaponize the DOJ against his opponents, all while deflecting from her own administration’s actions.
When discussing her leadership style, Harris said:
“I bring folks in my office all the time, and they know, I don’t want any yes people,” she claimed.
“I want people to come in and, first of all, be prepared (cue the cackle). Yeah, no time to waste!”
Yet we’ve heard numerous reports of high staff turnover due to her poor leadership skills. This is another reminder of her ineptitude, not just as a leader but also as a boss.
Then, there’s the notorious cackle. People enter the “Cackle Dome,” but it’s unclear if any sanity emerges after listening to it. And when addressing the stakes of this election, she reduces it to being “packed with some stuff.” Fundamental, apparently. What does that even mean?
“Stuff.” She can’t even define it well enough to communicate it but just assumes you should trust her on this vague “stuff.”
Even former Trump Ambassador Ric Grenell was baffled by this one.
How can anyone seriously vote for that? No wonder Obama is questioning why Harris is losing support among black men.
