Earlier, The Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump visited Valdosta, Georgia, to provide aid and speak on the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene across Georgia, the Carolinas, and Florida.
While addressing volunteers and victims, Trump mentioned that he had recently spoken to Elon Musk, requesting him to deploy Starlink services in the hurricane-stricken areas.
Trump stated, “We want to get Starlink hooked up, because they have no communication whatsoever.”
He continued, “We’re going to try to get the Starlink in there as soon as possible because they have no communication. And throughout the region, our hearts are with you, and we are going to be with you as long as you need it.”
Trump also added, “Elon will always come through.”

According to Bloomberg, Trump, during his visit to storm-battered Georgia, said he had spoken with Musk and would enlist his help to restore communications in the affected areas. Referring to Musk’s satellite-based Starlink system, Trump reiterated, “We want to get Starlink hooked up, because they have no communication whatsoever.”
The powerful storm carved a path through several states, including Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. These states are critical battlegrounds in the upcoming presidential election. The storm left more than 100 dead, with hundreds still unaccounted for, according to President Joe Biden’s statement on Monday. Many communities are still grappling with flooding and power outages.
