Trump Criticizes Harris’ Border Visit After Years of ‘Destroying’ It

Trump Urges Supreme Court Intervention Before Sentencing

Former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent border visit, accusing her of addressing the issue only after “four straight years of obliterating” the U.S. border. Speaking at an event in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, on Saturday, Trump referenced Harris’s trip to Douglas, Arizona, where she blamed Trump for failing to fix the country’s “broken immigration system.”

“After four years of completely destroying our border, I watched her performance,” Trump said. “Four years of the most incompetent border policies in history, and Kamala Harris shows up to the scene. She even stood near the wall that I built, using it as her backdrop.”

Trump continued, “In one of the most shameful acts ever committed by an administration, she allowed millions of people to flood our border, putting our country in grave danger. And now, border czar Harris went there to lie, standing at the very spot where she caused so much suffering, misery, and death.”

Although media outlets like the New York Times have portrayed Harris as taking a tough stance on border issues, Breitbart’s Neil Munro reported that Harris recently unveiled an “economic plan” promoting a loose border policy. The plan assumes an ongoing influx of low-wage migrant workers, government-supported migrant consumers, and migrant renters.

Harris’s 2024 campaign pledges include offering amnesty to illegal aliens and increasing the flow of migrants into the U.S. According to a report by Breitbart News’s John Binder, Harris recently endorsed bipartisan legislation from Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), which would raise immigration levels, formalize the administration’s parole process for migrants, and fast-track work permits for illegal immigrants at the southern border.

A House Homeland Security Committee report found that nearly eight million migrants have entered the U.S. under the Biden-Harris administration, with over 85 percent of those arriving at the southern border being released into the country.
