Bob Woodward, a far-left author and Washington Post editor, is preparing to release an ‘October surprise’ targeting Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. Woodward’s upcoming book, titled War, promises to reveal several explosive details on October 15.

Simon & Schuster described Woodward’s upcoming book as “an intimate and sweeping account of one of the most tumultuous and dangerous periods in presidential politics and American history.”
As reported by Axios, it was well-known in Washington that Woodward was working on a pre-election book, but the details were kept under wraps. Woodward shared in an interview with Axios that his reporting for the book began in 2021, the first year of Biden’s presidency, before Russia invaded Ukraine in what he described as a “war of territorial conquest.”
Joe Biden exited the 2024 presidential race on July 21—after Woodward completed his book. Kamala Harris subsequently removed Biden from the ballot and claimed all of his delegates. In response to Harris’s actions, a spokesperson for Simon & Schuster told ABC News that they are prepared to update War if necessary: “We have the capacity to react quickly if there’s a new development,” the spokesperson said.
