President Trump held a rally on Wednesday night in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in front of thousands of supporters who were neither paid to attend nor there for a free concert. During his speech, President Trump talked about his immigration chart, the one he displayed in Butler, Pennsylvania, that he believes saved his life.
On July 13, 2024, before Trump was shot, he asked his team to pull up the immigration chart 10 minutes into his speech. Trump later mentioned that he usually pulls up the chart later in his speech.
On Wednesday, President Trump asked the young woman who had displayed the chart in Butler to come on stage. He told the crowd, “She saved my life.”
President Trump:
This chart saved my life!
I love that chart. I’m going to sleep with that chart for the rest of my life. That chart. The amazing thing, is the people that operate the computers and all the brilliant equipment we have backstage. She said to me, She’s great. She’s great. She should come out. Just tell her to come out here for a second. Quick, quick, quick. You got to get her up.
She’s never done this before. She saved my life, in a sense. I said, ‘You saved my life.’ Here she is. Wow.
Trump media expert: “Hi.”
President Trump:
No, she’s a computer genius. She saved my life. So the story is open, but that chart, I only use it probably less than 20% of the time. In other words, we do the rallies and stuff. Sometimes I’ll pull it down, sometimes I won’t because I do things a little bit at random while I’m up here.
